Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes by Chris Crutcher.i liked this book because it is interesting and i like how it is all about friendship and loyalty and how to not care about what people say or think about you . you cant let things get you down.. if i could change something about this book it would be the fact that it gives too much information that sometimes u forget exacly what you are reading about . the main conflict in the book is when he fell in love with the other girl but then he falls back in love with sarah and they are in love but some people do not want them together and they tease them because he is fat and sarah is ugly. this lead to other problems because he had to decide weather he was gunna stay with her or leave her because of the things people are saying about them. whats memorable about the main character is that no matter what people were saying about him and sarah , he still stayed with her because he was in love and he didnt want to hurt her. he learned that he shouldnt care what people say, they cant ruin his love life.

in this book , a significant moment is when eric goes and visits his bestfriend sarah at the hospital and everyone realized they cant talk to her because she will not respond unless they call her by her full name,
sarah byrnes.
Eric is in the swimming team at his school but he doesnt like to be getting made fun of because he is fat. he doesnt care, hes a good swimmer and he will not let anyone ruin that just by hurting him.

old book vs new book.

in my old book , Crank by hellen hopkins, is about a chick who was a good girl at first until she moves in with her dad and becomes a little rebel. i like this book because it somehow teaches you certain stuff and it shows you whats right and whats wrong and what happens once you've tried drugs. there isnt turning back. theres no way she can stop and now she has became someoone else.what i didnt like about this book is the way it was written, but other than that i think this book is the best and i think every teenager out there should read this book to learn some stuff.
the next book that i am reading is about a boy who is fat and he is in a swimming class and he hates it because he hates looking at fit kids knowing that he isnt fit. i like this book because i can somewhat relate to it but at the same time feel good about it.

CRANK

in the story Crank by Hellen Hopkins , it explains the story of a young girl and how her life changes when she meets the monster, as in drugs. she has been addicted. but before all that even started she was a good girl with good grades at school and everuthing. but then she had to move in with her dad for a few weeks and thats when the whole adventure began. she started taking drugs with some new people she had met and to top it all off her dad was also a drug addict.
me and Kristina are alike because she is always willing to try something new. it may be worse or it may be better but she would take any chances what so ever. but we are not alike because she has turned into a druggie and she has lost a lot of her friends and she would do anything for drugs. she also ran away from home . i wouldn't do that.

charlie st cloud

this picture realtes to charlie st. cloud because in the story his little brother dies and i think that this represents his death and even though he is dead, he is always with his brother and never going to leave his side. although people dont believe him and think he is going nuts, he doesnt care and he still knows his brother is there no matter what. also, his brother goes visit him at the cemetary where he is burried.

My book connects to love because it shows the love that zack has for his brother and everything he does for him even though he already is dead. he loves him so very much and he would do anything for him no matter what. it also connects to hatred because zack hates the people who doesnt believe in him because he still thinks his brother is alive but people are thinking hes going crazy. it even connects with family and freinds because he has some family he has to worry about because he loves them so very much and he has friends who dont leave his side and believe in him and dont think hes going crazy and stuff. yup . . . . this even connects with death because his little brother dies and his little brother and him still talk and they go on addventures together and that is one reason why the people think that he is going insane. yup.

THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD

this book , "THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD" by Ben Sherwood is a very fascinating book . it i also very lovely . a perfect book for the whole family.This book starts off by telling you a bit about Charlie and his life and his family. he has a pretty good life and always had that goal of going to an island wshen he got older. one day he got in an accidernt and died. his older brother whom loved him so very much would always go visit him at the funeral and he somehow felt that charlie was still there. he would go every single day just to keep him company. people started thinking he was crazy but for some reason he wasnt. since charlie always had that goal to go to an island, his brother took him on a boat/. people were trying to stop him because they knew he was dead but charlie wasnt dead to him . the book ends off pretty lovely. i recomend you this book because it is great.
