Staying Fat For Sarah Byrnes by Chris Crutcher.i liked this book because it is interesting and i like how it is all about friendship and loyalty and how to not care about what people say or think about you . you cant let things get you down.. if i could change something about this book it would be the fact that it gives too much information that sometimes u forget exacly what you are reading about . the main conflict in the book is when he fell in love with the other girl but then he falls back in love with sarah and they are in love but some people do not want them together and they tease them because he is fat and sarah is ugly. this lead to other problems because he had to decide weather he was gunna stay with her or leave her because of the things people are saying about them. whats memorable about the main character is that no matter what people were saying about him and sarah , he still stayed with her because he was in love and he didnt want to hurt her. he learned that he shouldnt care what people say, they cant ruin his love life.

in this book , a significant moment is when eric goes and visits his bestfriend sarah at the hospital and everyone realized they cant talk to her because she will not respond unless they call her by her full name,
sarah byrnes.
Eric is in the swimming team at his school but he doesnt like to be getting made fun of because he is fat. he doesnt care, hes a good swimmer and he will not let anyone ruin that just by hurting him.

old book vs new book.

in my old book , Crank by hellen hopkins, is about a chick who was a good girl at first until she moves in with her dad and becomes a little rebel. i like this book because it somehow teaches you certain stuff and it shows you whats right and whats wrong and what happens once you've tried drugs. there isnt turning back. theres no way she can stop and now she has became someoone else.what i didnt like about this book is the way it was written, but other than that i think this book is the best and i think every teenager out there should read this book to learn some stuff.
the next book that i am reading is about a boy who is fat and he is in a swimming class and he hates it because he hates looking at fit kids knowing that he isnt fit. i like this book because i can somewhat relate to it but at the same time feel good about it.

CRANK

in the story Crank by Hellen Hopkins , it explains the story of a young girl and how her life changes when she meets the monster, as in drugs. she has been addicted. but before all that even started she was a good girl with good grades at school and everuthing. but then she had to move in with her dad for a few weeks and thats when the whole adventure began. she started taking drugs with some new people she had met and to top it all off her dad was also a drug addict.
me and Kristina are alike because she is always willing to try something new. it may be worse or it may be better but she would take any chances what so ever. but we are not alike because she has turned into a druggie and she has lost a lot of her friends and she would do anything for drugs. she also ran away from home . i wouldn't do that.

charlie st cloud

this picture realtes to charlie st. cloud because in the story his little brother dies and i think that this represents his death and even though he is dead, he is always with his brother and never going to leave his side. although people dont believe him and think he is going nuts, he doesnt care and he still knows his brother is there no matter what. also, his brother goes visit him at the cemetary where he is burried.

My book connects to love because it shows the love that zack has for his brother and everything he does for him even though he already is dead. he loves him so very much and he would do anything for him no matter what. it also connects to hatred because zack hates the people who doesnt believe in him because he still thinks his brother is alive but people are thinking hes going crazy. it even connects with family and freinds because he has some family he has to worry about because he loves them so very much and he has friends who dont leave his side and believe in him and dont think hes going crazy and stuff. yup . . . . this even connects with death because his little brother dies and his little brother and him still talk and they go on addventures together and that is one reason why the people think that he is going insane. yup.

THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD

this book , "THE DEATH AND LIFE OF CHARLIE ST. CLOUD" by Ben Sherwood is a very fascinating book . it i also very lovely . a perfect book for the whole family.This book starts off by telling you a bit about Charlie and his life and his family. he has a pretty good life and always had that goal of going to an island wshen he got older. one day he got in an accidernt and died. his older brother whom loved him so very much would always go visit him at the funeral and he somehow felt that charlie was still there. he would go every single day just to keep him company. people started thinking he was crazy but for some reason he wasnt. since charlie always had that goal to go to an island, his brother took him on a boat/. people were trying to stop him because they knew he was dead but charlie wasnt dead to him . the book ends off pretty lovely. i recomend you this book because it is great.

in the article "The Dream Act", it explains how immagrants do not have the right nor the opportunity to go to college and be something in life. It also explains that it is not fiar and people need to help out and change the world and let those immagrants have a chance in life to be successful and go to college. This place needs to stop being so selfish and let these immagrants be who they want to be in life. This article also states that they have been passing laws that give scholarships to the people who want to go to college. some people do want these immagrants to become educated and care for their future.

in my book, Love and Lies, there were a few significant moments which i would like to share with you people. one significant moment was when they were having problems and a good quote was "you have to go through ups and downs, nothing is perfect, and imperfections \makes you stronger". this quote it relating to their problems because it says they need to face problems in order to become more stronger and i think next they are gunna fix their probllems and get along like before when they used to have nothing to worry about and they werent so stressed and getting into fights with eachother.

MED HEAD.

in the book, i rather be coreys therapist , Dr. Rahil, because i would like to help corey out with the conditions that he was in and i would also like to stop him from all that bad things that he was doing. I also wouldnt give him as much medicine as his other therapist do just to stop the condition that he is in. i would put myself in his place and i would feel what he is feelings. So by that i would know not to give him as much medicine that does not even help, it just makes his tics go worse and make him do terrible things. i also would llike to be his teacher because i would be there for him and i would understand what he is going through. i would also make the kids not bully him just bcause he has problems.

trust..

"Trust, but verify." this quote is also catchy because in some sort it means about trust , and trusting people . and some people my age have problems with that so this is how i relate to this quote because you can trust, but trust carefully.

jealousy...

"I do not say anything from jealousy." this quote is a bit catchy . this quote comes out right in the beginning of paragraph 26. i thought it was catchy because many teenagers like me have been in that place when they are jealous at some point about some pointless things. Yes, we all been there and this is why i can somewhat relate to this quote.

By the time . . . . . .

"By the time we've made it, we've had it." i like this quote because it leaves you thinking and once you've figured it out it means that before they had fallen in love , they were already in love. which makes it even more special and important somehow. 

A friend...

"A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same." is a quote in paragraph 15 where Marisol is depressed because that one person who she truley loved is gone out of her life and all of her friends where there by her side cheering her up and i would like to be in some kind of position like her.

like the very first time. . .

"A kiss makes the heart young again and wipes out the years." was a quote in paragraph six. i thought it might be important because it explains how she felt the first time she kissed the girl she actually liked. and for the first time , she was in love.

Do all things with love.

"Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship - never." this quote was catchy and i thought it was quite important and understandable . i can see what the narrator was trying to say and many people may agree with it . this quotes was one that i liked the most of all of them because you can understand and feel the marrators emotions toward this quote.

The truth..

"the truth will set you free. but first it will piss you off."This quote comes out right in the begining of the book. It most likely explains or gives you an idea about what you might read and what you are going to be expecting.

Love & Lies

This picture relates to Love & Lies because in this book its mostly about jealousy and teenager problems. except that in this story its about a lesbian girl. but this somehow does relate to it because as you can see in the girl's face, she looks angry and in this story i can feel the anger and the tention.

What i like about this book is that i can actually feel the tention and i can put myself in that position. i can imagine it in my head and think about it. i can feel what the narriator is feeling and trying to tell us. what i would change about it is that maby the narriator shouldnt've given too much information about what is happening and actually get to the point. i would just want to ask that why make it comfusing at first , i cant even understand who's who and what's what. i would recomment this to my friend yolanda because she is a lesbian and she has a huge crush on me.lol jk
